Sorry to disappoint everyone but I’m still here! Most Australian wild animals can be held in your hand as most of them are quite small and very few of them are potentially fatal.
Some species of Egernia can be a bit bitey but this particular example wasn’t...a fact for which I was grateful as they can give a solid nip.
